North Cork Classical Music is delighted to announce that the Hydra Quintet will perform a concert on Sunday, July 24 at 6.30pm in St Colman’s Church, Farahy (the Bowenscourt church near Mitchelstown).

This is a very accomplished young Irish quintet who will play a string quartet by Shostakovich and clarinet quintets by Mozart and Brahms.
These five promising Irish musicians who are currently pursuing their studies in colleges in Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe, are all awarding-winning students and have achieved considerable success in their chosen instruments.
Collectively, they are known as the Hydra Quintet.
The group comprises of Sophie Creaner (clarinet), Brendan Garde (violin), Eoin Ducrot (violin), Ed Creedon (viola) and Aoife Burke (cello).
