The 61st annual Araglin Carnival roared into life last Friday night when a several hundred strong crowd of teenagers descended on the marquee for the Tomorrow Land Disco with guest DJ Shane Reynolds.
In keeping with trends in recent years, almost all the surrounding towns and villages were represented.
It was an occasion when stamina levels were tested, however, as we know, this age group have vast reserves of energy and enthusiasm.
A well supported evening of bingo in the hall along with a soccer tournament hosted by Kilworth Celtic FC made up the remainder of the programme.
