Waterford put defeats in 2010 and 2012 to bed when they comfortably beat Kildare in Croke Park on Sunday to claim the All-Ireland intermediate ladies football final.
Waterford powered to a comprehensive 3-14 to 0-10 victory over the Lillywhites, who went into the final as favourites – having played in the senior ranks up to last year.
