
A Status Yellow rainfall alert has been issued for all counties in The Avondhu area.
Met Eireann has warned that in the twenty-four hour period from Thursday afternoon (April 5th) to Friday afternoon, there’ll be between 30mm and 50mm of rain in many areas with a risk of flooding.
The alert is for counties Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford.
Meanwhile, temperatures are set to fall to -3 to -4 nationwide tonight.
