Fermoy’s own Hayden Supple took the Boys U15 All-Ireland handball singles title while representing Cork on Saturday last, October 30.
The final, which was held in Thurles, County Tipperary, was supposed to have been played last summer, however, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, was postponed until this year.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Hayden’s father Aidan Supple said that taking the All-Ireland title was one of the biggest achievements for Hayden in handball to date.
“He was over the moon, we all were. This is one of the biggest things you can do in handball,” Aidan enthused.
