Great support for Kilworth GAA fundraiser

Following a big push by club volunteers, last Saturday night’s Kilworth GAA fundraiser in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown, was a resounding success.

The event, which was a discussion by hurling experts on the forthcoming championship, attracted a 300 strong crowd. Indeed, the occasion had a ‘social’ feel to it, with patrons enjoying pre-show drinks before formalities began.

Club activists, Kieran Lane, Pat O’Brien, Brian Sheehan and Liam Whelan took the lead when it came to ticket sales, and thanks to their efforts, the night was a great financial success.
