The Grange National School cookbook is set to be launched next week. To celebrate the occasion there will be a cheese and wine reception with some fabulous home baking from recipes contained in the cookbook. There will also be a range of spot prizes to be won including a special draw for a superb smart phone for customers who purchase 5 or more books on the night.

All members of the public are very welcome to attend. Master of ceremonies on what promises to be a very enjoyable evening will be local journalist, Ralph Riegel.

The book is a collection of recipes from teachers, parents and children from Grange school as well as the business community in the Fermoy and wider area. The book launch will take place at The Fermoy Clubhouse (GAA, Pitch and Putt) on Friday, November 15 at 7.30pm.

The book has been compiled by Grange Parents Association in partnership with Grange National School as a school fundraiser. The wonderfully named ‘Great Recipes/Great Food’ cookbook features lots of delicious recipes, coloured photos of some of the ingredients and finished products as well as images from children of the school.

This high quality coloured publication has been very kindly sponsored by businesses and individuals recorded in the book and will be on sale on the night at a very reasonable price of €10, making it a great Christmas gift. The book will also be available to purchase from many local outlets should you not be able to attend on the night.

Well done to everyone involved and here’s to cooking up some of the delicious recipes over the coming months.
