Graffiti cleaned from Barnane walls

Recently repaired and restored walls at Barnane walk in Fermoy have been replenished as a combined effort between the probation service and the local Tidy Towns, saw graffiti removed from the walls last week.

On Saturday morning, a crew was seen on site, using necessary chemicals and associated equipment to remove the offensive messages that were spray painted along sections on the historic wall.

The removal of the graffiti was coordinated by Fermoy Tidy Towns, with volunteer Ken Barry coordinating the works carried out by the probation service and community service work crews.
