There was a sell out crowd for last Sunday night's performance by the Castlelyons Gospel Choir.
The event took place in Castlelyons Community Centre with guests treated to a mulled wine reception in advance of the show.
The award winning choir were joined by guest performers (musician Aoife O'Donovan along with Grainne Barry and friends) during the course of what was a very enjoyable evening.
There was a theatrical contribution from members of the Barrymore Players.
The show's success was a great start to Fiona O'Brien's career as musical director and with some new talent signed up for 2019, the outlook is very encouraging.
This male/female choir also demonstrated their versatility by combining a programme of popular Christmas hymns with more contemporary songs. The end result was a brilliant night's entertainment.
At the conclusion of proceedings, chairperson of the Castlelyons Gospel Choir committee Eilish O'Mahoney, thanked the audience for their attention and appreciation.
