The CBS Primary Golf Classic took place in Mitchelstown Golf Club last Friday. The fine weather allowed golfers of all abilities enjoy the event in comfort.
John Weir, who assisted with the planning and organisation of the fundraiser, thanked everyone who participated. In total, 43 teams took part – some doing better than others. For the majority, it was an occasion to dust off the clubs, meet up with friends and ‘hit a few balls’.
COURSE IN SUPERB CONDITION
Golfers were fulsome in their praise of this well appointed course, which, as always, was in superb condition. Following their round, teams were treated to an an excellent meal in the club house. Later in the evening, a range of attractive prizes were presented.
