This year’s Captain’s Annual Charity Golf Classic takes place in Fermoy Golf Club on Friday, October 7.

All proceeds from the event are going to St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy.

This competition takes the format of a 3 ball scramble (any combination) – the cost of entering a team is €60. There will be a range of prizes given out including prizes for ‘longest drive’ and ‘nearest to pin’.

Speaking at the launch, hospital fundraising spokesperson, Tadhg O’Donovan, said receiving proceeds from this year’s classic was a great boost to the association.
