The Fermoy Community Hospital Music Marathon held in association with Cheers Bar, Fermoy is without doubt the hospital's most lucrative fundraiser.
12 hours of 'free' music, the concept is straightforward but very effective. Both stakeholders – Fermoy hospital and Cheers Bar – benefit significantly from an event that was officially launched by the hospital's Director of Nursing, Marie Hayes at 12.30pm last Sunday afternoon.
