A very enjoyable Mad Hatters Tea Party took place in Castlelyons last Sunday. The venue was an amenity area in the village centre, adjacent to Castlelyons Pitch & Putt Club. With its trees, foliage and slow running stream, it proved an ideal location.
The high pressure maintaining a presence all over our island, ensured a fine weekend and this was a major source of relief to party organisers, which encouraged a strong turnout.
This free event had been postponed from earlier in the year, thankfully it was second time lucky.
