Country event goes down a treat in Fermoy

Club chairman, Kieran O’Keeffe and his very hardworking committee, were relieved, happy and tired people on Sunday evening as the curtain came down on an event that earned rave reviews from patrons.

Speaking during an interval at last Sunday’s ‘Fermoy Goes Country’, Kieran thanked Fermoy GAA Club volunteers and those who assisted, for putting in such a fantastic effort.

“The club is delighted with how the day has gone, the entertainers have been superb and everyone is having a great time. So many people have worked so hard, especially behind the scenes. I want to take this opportunity to thank them and yourselves for turning up in such numbers today,” he said.
