As Glanworth waits news of its Wastewater Treatment Plant, a recent EPA report says that the work needs to be done ‘without delay’.
A site visit in early September found that the plant is overloaded, and is exceeding emissions for all things bar the pH level.
Not only did the EPA inspector state that the upgrade of the plant needs to happen as soon as possible, but also that tertiary treatment to the interim upgrades be considered too.
