A student from Glanmire Community College has picked up the Expo Milan 2015 prize at this year’s EU Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) in Milan.

This year marks the 27th edition of the EUCYS, an initiative of the European Commission with the goal of promoting co-operation and interchange between young scientists and guiding them towards a future career in science and technology.
