Between April 1 and April 2, there were reports of ‘gatherings’ ongoing in the Lismore area.
One such gathering was reported to have taken place on the main street in the West Waterford town, where it is understood that a large crowd was said to have congregated.
An enquiry was put forward to An Garda Síochana, a spokesperson for whom said: “Gardaí responded to reports of a gathering of persons at a residence in Lismore, Co Waterford, on the 2nd April 2021.
“Gardaí attended the scene and engaged with those present and they dispersed.”
