Galbally residents ‘won’t be dictated to’

Some residents of Galbally are being ‘dictated to’ in the matter of grass and verge cutting in the village, according to former Community Chairman, Jim Fitzgerald.

Mr Fitzgerald took to social media this week to echo the sentiments of Minister Patrick O’Donovan, that the country is ‘like the Serengeti’.

He expressed the belief that people in Galbally were particularly affected by the ‘self appointed individual’ who is dissuading residents from doing any grass cutting themselves, allegedly in the name of environmental protection.
