Kildorrery GAA hold successful night at the dogs
Galbally NS won the South A Division girls football competition so we then went on to play the Celtic Image Shield in UL on Thursday, 28th November.
In the first match - the semi final we played Ardagh. The score in that match was 4-2 to 1-4. In the second match - the final we played Knockea. The score was 4-3 to 1-2. The girls were eager to win this match as it would be the first Galbally team to ever win this. It was an exhilarating match! Knockea were very tough. At the end of the match captain, Caitlin Kennedy, made an excellent speech. She proudly accepted the shield. Well done to the girls!
