Some of the LCA1 students of St Fanahan’s College, Mitchelstown, with their delicious ‘Funky Fudge’ creations.

Following on from the overwhelming popularity of last year's fudge making company by the Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA) class in St Fanahan's College, this year's class decided to follow suit, whipping up delicious fudge treats for staff and pupils.

'Funky Fudge' brought their mouth watering products to their customers, with diverse flavours such as pistachio, white chocolate and marshmallow proving most popular.

A teacher told The Avondhu that it is a very worthwhile experience, as the students got the opportunity to enhance their creative, marketing and business skills, while the students and teachers got to satisfy their sweet tooth.
