Funds of over €157,000 have been raised to support young Katie O’Keeffe in her fight against a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
Katie’s Dad, Kevin, a Bartlemy native, and mother Siobhan from Tipperary, recently moved home from Australia to be closer to family after the ‘kind hearted, funny and enthusiastic’ young girl’s life was turned upside down.
On March 4, Katie was brought to her GP as she had been limping and off balance for little less than two weeks.
