For the first time in nine years, Fermoy Town & District Angling Club are opening their doors to new members, young and old, as the group commits to running an angling programme in 2016. Additionally the club have organised their first flag day in three years on Saturday, March 12.

The funds raised from the flag day, as well as through membership (which includes personal accident insurance), will go towards the costs of running the club annually.

It costs over €1,100 each year to keep the club going – with costs including insurance, licence fees, annual account fees, lifejacket servicing and fuel.
