Hot on the heels of the general election, Cllr Frank O’Flynn has announced that he will be standing for the Seanad in the upcoming election.

Cllr O’Flynn was nominated by the Dairy Executive Association (formerly Irish creamery managers) and said that for him, the campaign trail is only just beginning, as he expects the election to take place at the end of April.

“I’ll give it everything, but it’s a very different election and there will be a lot of contenders, but I am the only one from North Cork so far.”
