
Family, neighbours and friends of Claire Downey were out in force at last Saturday night’s bingo in Kildorrery. This is the latest in a series of fundraisers for Claire, all of whom have been very well supported.
The creamery yard venue was full to capacity in advance of the official start time of 8.15pm. Overseeing proceedings were Dermot Coffey and Bridie Walsh, who did an excellent job. A host of valuable sponsored prizes were sourced for the raffle and the event was a great financial success.
Addressing those in attendance, Claire’s uncle, Tom Downey, thanked all those who helped make the night possible.
