Preparatory works are getting underway ahead of the development of 93 houses at a site at Strawhall, Fermoy.
It is expected that minor activity will be seen on the site, soon to be known as Glenwood housing estate, as preparatory works continue over the next four to five weeks.
Major works are expected to begin in mid to late February with houses expected to be ready for occupation before Christmas this year.
