The activities of the Irish Red Cross are well known to groups and organisations who have to call on their expertise.
These well trained volunteers are present at all manner of events ranging from festivals to horse racing. While there is a charge for their services, they must continually fundraise to cover their considerable expenditure.
On Saturday night last the Fermoy branch of the Irish Red Cross held a fundraising dance in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown.
