Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin was in Fermoy recently, getting in touch with the grassroots ahead of next year's local elections.
He met with party members in The Grand Hotel where he also launched the party's national draw locally. Present were the three area candidates for next year's local elections, sitting Councillors Kevin O'Keeffe and Frank O'Flynn and newcomer Ian Doyle, from Charleville.
