Festive events bonanza at Saint George’s

Saint George’s, Mitchelstown has been building towards its festive programme with a feast of recent events including Liam Ó Maonlai, Mick Hanly, Frances Black and even ‘Elvis’ amazing and delighting audiences.

The line-up for the coming Christmas season will have treats and musical gifts for all. One of the greatest of these has been the recent installation of a new sustainable heating system which will keep everyone cozy and warm into the coming winter and for years to come.

Shoppers and craft enthusiasts will fill their Christmas shopping needs this weekend at the Mitchelstown Christmas Market held in Saint George’s on Saturday and Sunday (25th and 26th) from 11am to 4pm, with over 40 different craft, gift and food stalls there each day, a stocking filler or your main gifts are bound to be waiting for you there!

When the buzz from the market has died down and everyone is basking in a glow of festive contentment, The Fogues will be taking to the stage to raise the roof on Saturday, December 9th at 8pm.
