Fermoy Christmas Lights committee, under the chairmanship of Cllr. Noel McCarthy, have delivered the goods once again, as the town flickers and twinkles like never before.
Talking to The Avondhu following last Friday evening’s virtual switch on ceremony, Cllr McCarthy said the lights send a really positive message about Fermoy and its inhabitants.
“We all know how difficult a year it’s been for everyone and against this background, it was more important than ever, that we have the lights up in good time for the festive season…”
