John Rice nonchalantly lifting 250kgs, as he poses with a collection of trophies and medals he has won for his exploits in powerlifting.
Fermoy’s John Rice rounded off an excellent year by claiming the overall powerlifting title in the Masters’ section for 2015 in the Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Association.
The all-conquering 67-year-old topped the pile for 2015, which was calculated by performances throughout the year, at regional, national and international events.
