The success and growth of Fermoy Indoor Market has led organiser Louise Fitzgerald to decide to continue it as a permanent fixture in the town.
Not only that, but it’s being extended to include a baby fair. People will be able to buy and sell their baby, toddler and maternity goods. Louise says she came up with the idea because, “There’s a big demand for such goods and then can be expensive to buy. This is a great way for people to clear out baby goods, toys and clothes that they no longer need but are too good to throw away.”
The market will run in its usual venue, Fermoy Youth Centre so that people can browse in comfort whatever the weather. It’ll be held on the first Sunday of every month from 11am to 4pm. Entry will continue to be free. Bookings are being taken for stalls. Call Louise on 086-3231010.
