Given Covid restrictions, it wasn’t possible for Fermoy GAA to publicly mark the centenary of Michael Fitzgerald’s death. The nationalist leader died on hunger strike at 9.45pm on October 17th 1920.

MC for the occasion was former chairman of Fermoy GAA, Brendan Keane.
