St Colman’s College Fermoy and Mitchelstown Community Centre are both the benefit from this year's Sports Capital Grant allocations.
St Colman’s have been awarded €77,200 for the refurbishment of the handball alleys at the school.
Garvan Queeney, vice principal at St Colman’s, explained that there are four handball alleys which are in daily use at the school by the students at break-times, after school and by local clubs.
