The Ryan family who own the Ballylanders factory that was hit by a massive fire last weekend, has expressed their devastation over the loss of offices and some of the production facility, following the massive inferno that broke out at the Galtee Woods factory at approximately 2.30am on Sunday morning.
Fire crews from Mitchelstown, Kilmallock, Cappamore, Rathkeale and Tipperary Town tackled the blaze for most of Sunday and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not yet established and Gardai have asked anyone with information to contact their local station.
The Ryan family, who own the Galtee Group, issued a statement on Sunday night following the incident.
