A group of Fermoy volunteers will take part in next Monday's Cork City Marathon to help raise funds for children's learning support group, FACE.

Some of the runners are opting for the half marathon with others participating in the marathon relay. Fitt Stop Personal Training & Fitness Studio, Fermoy have generously sponsored T-shirts for the event - a gesture which is much appreciated by the FACE members.

FACE spokesperson, Thomas Flynn thanked Sylvia and Valerie for their sponsorship and wished everyone the best in next Monday's run. Thomas went on to say that the marathon was a very important fundraiser for FACE who provide a range of services to children with learning difficulties.
