Monday last was Grandparents' Day at Curraghagalla National School which meant an organised link up between the generations.

Proceedings got underway with a special Grandparents' Day Mass which was celebrated by Glanworth parish priest, Fr Michael Corkery.

Normal lessons were put on hold as grandmothers and grandfathers got an insight into a day in the life of the modern pupil – all were agreed that it was a far cry from attending school in the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
