“We’re crying out for volunteers” came the call this week, with the future of Bartlemy Parish Hall now in the balance, as an emergency general meeting (EGM) has been called for next week.
This comes following upset at the recent Rathcormac Car Boot Sale as the tea stall, which traders and attendees had become familiar with and fond of, was not on site as normal.
Run by members of the Bartlemy Parish Hall committee, the stall is a key source of income for the local hall, however, a shortage of volunteers has seen an absence of the popular stall and has placed doubt on the future viability of the hall.
