This week saw Killavullen neighbours James Deane and Jack Shanahan both come home victorious from drifting events with James winning both the final round of the Northern Ireland Series and also the Nurbergring Drift Cup in Germany.

In Germany, James would have been driving against 80 of the top drifters from across Europe and he was the only Irish representative. This weekend, he will be travelling to South Africa, to drift over there.

Jack came third overall in the last round of the Northern Ireland series, losing to James Deane in first place.

Not only do they live just down the road from each other, but both drivers are also sponsored by Deane Msport, run by James' brother Mike. James showed Jack the ropes when he started driving last year.
