Legal proceedings surrounding the derelict structure on Upper Cork Street in Mitchelstown are ongoing, with the council cautioning that the legal proceedings would, out of necessity and due process, ‘take some time’.
In December, Dangerous Structures Notices were served on the owners of numbers 49 and 50, Upper Cork Street, advising them that they had six weeks to demolish the premises in a safe manner, to remove all debris and make safe the site.
