Organisers of the recent D’hillbillies Barn Dance in Curraghagalla have reported an amazing turnout for last week’s dance, where just under 1,000 people turned up for the soirée last Saturday night at Gortnahown Farm.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Sean Casey and Isabel Smith reported that the craic kicked off at 8pm with the Champion’s League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan, and kept on going until 2am, with the late bar quenching patrons’ thirsts on what was a warm night.
