A further information request on a planning application for a solar farm at Clykeel North, Rathcormac will see Cork County Council issue a decision on the proposed development by May 24.
The application, originally submitted in September of 2020, sought for the development of a solar farm comprising of up to 27,690 photovoltaic panels on ground-mounted frames within a site are of approximately 15.18 hectares.
It also sought permission for two single-storey inverter/transformer stations, one single storey delivery station, security fencing, CCTV and all associated ancillary development works.
