Heated exchanges were had in Fermoy Town Hall on Tuesday as local councillors criticised the lack of information surrounding the Fermoy Town Centre Renewal Project.
Funding to the tune of €1.925 million has been received towards detailed development and enabling initiatives for the project which was announced in January. However, according to council officials, as of Tuesday, only one stakeholder meeting has been held internally as of yet.
Raising the matter at Tuesday’s Fermoy MD meeting, Cllr Frank O’Flynn called for a meeting between councillors, the executive and the people of Fermoy, regarding the matter.
