Waterford County Council has agreed to erect signs identifying house numbers in the Lios an Oir housing estate in Lismore.
The private estate has been taken in charge by Waterford County Council. Concern was expressed at a previous meeting of Lismore Town Council by Councillor Orla Russell that it was hard to find house numbers and it would be a concern if emergency vehicles were trying to find a particular house number in the estate.
She was told at their monthly meeting on Monday night last that a member of the council visited the estate recently to decide where the signs could be placed and that the work will be done.
