If it’s fun you’re after, then Conna is the place to be this Sunday, where an event packed full of activities and entertainment is planned.

The Family Fun day is being organised by Jennifer Leahy and her partner Martin McNamara as a fundraiser for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin. The couple’s one-year-old daughter Abbie receives treatment for a serious heart defect at the hospital and the couple wanted to do something in return.

Music, a cake sale, bric-a-brac and loads of other entertainment is lined up with Shannon Murphy and Kelly McDonagh Mongan making special guest appearances at Conna Community Complex where the event will run from 12.30 until 4pm.
