Co-Op Superstores National Hunt Raceday for Cork Racecourse

Co-Op Superstores, the retail division of Dairygold, is delighted to be back in the saddle for the third year to sponsor the National Hunt Raceday at Cork Racecourse, Mallow on Sunday, October 20 with the first race going to post at 2.05pm.

The Co-Op Superstores Raceday is a hugely popular race fixture that marks the launch of the exciting national hunt winter season and features top class thoroughbred racing along with many of Ireland’s leading jockeys and trainers.

The day’s feature race will be the coopsuperstores.ie Handicap Steeplechase (Grade B) with a prize fund of €50,000.

Great day’s racing

Andrew Hogan, Manager at Cork Racecourse Mallow, this week said: “We’re delighted to have Dairygold and Co-Op Superstores on board again this year as sponsors for what we see as one of the highlights of the 2019 Cork Racecourse fixtures list. Dairygold has supported us for many years and they’re now well associated with this national hunt winter season opener. 

“As a rural based retailer, many of their customers are regular race goers and we are looking forward to welcoming them all to Cork Racecourse on October 20th.”
