Jimmy Fanning of Clondulane, known to many as ‘The Music Man,’ recently celebrated his 90th birthday in the company of his family.
The milestone birthday was a little quieter than Jimmy and his family had expected, as the lockdown has meant that many people are unable to travel or visit their friends at the moment.
However, daughter Olive Hally noted that there was a constant stream of friends and neighbours calling to wish Jimmy the best for his birthday.
“We had planned to have a big party, but with the virus, that had to be called off. But you can be sure that once this is over and the pubs are open again, we’ll be having a big party, and plenty of music,” Olive told The Avondhu.
