Christmas Mass Times

Christmas Eve: Burncourt 9pm and Clogheen 8pm. Christmas Day: Burncourt 10am and Clogheen 11am. St Stephen’s Day Mass Clogheen, 10am. New Year’s Eve Mass Clogheen 10am. New Year’s Day Mass Burncourt and Clogheen 10am. Epiphany Holy Day, 6th January Burncourt and Clogheen Mass 10am.

Vee Rovers

Vee Rovers will hold their Christmas party in nedeen’s on Saturday 21st.

Split the Pot

First prize Eoin Myres €86, 2nd Michael O’Donnell €43, seller Nedeens Bar €14. Happy Christmas to all the people who purchase and sell the envelopes for Split the Pot, The Friends of Theresa’s Hospital received a cheque for €1770 from Knockmealdown Active who run the fundraiser Split the Pot.

Bridie Keating, Mike and Eilleen Short, Cooldevane, Clogheen would like to thank the Community Council for organising such a wonderful Christmas party in Clogheen. The kindness shown to all of us was exceptional, and the meal and dancing that followed was delightful. Thank you.

Christmas Carol Sing-a-long

The sing-a-long will take place on this Friday, 20th December at 7pm. Starting in the grounds of St Theresa’s Hospital, proceeding to various areas around the town, fginishing at the Community Christmas tree in the square. Please make every effort to join us for this get together and show that Clogheen is in the Christmas spirit.

Late Sean Flynn honoured

The Flynn family would like to thank the 13th Battalion of the FCA who recently honoured the late Sean Flynn for his dedication of 40 years of service. A presentation was made at the recent reunion of the 13th Battalion, a heartfelt thank you for it and all the memories.
