Following a number of complaints from parents, Cllr Olive Corcoran is calling for a playground bye-law relating to dogs being kept on leashes to be displayed in Fermoy Town Park.

Cllr Corcoran said that the display and enforcement of the bye-law would lead to less dog fouling, as the dogs would be on a lead. It would also make children feel safer, as there wouldn’t be loose dogs running around and it could reduce the amount of dog fouling in the park.
