Glenbrohane Community Association kick-start their Christmas festivities this Thursday night (21st), with a little exercise, followed by the customary cuppa and chat in the hall.
The annual Winter solstice walk up Sliabh Riadh will depart from the church car park at 7pm; alternatively, for something a little more easy paced, a stroll around the Glen will take place at 7.30pm.
Afterwards, patrons can gather in the hall for a warm cuppa and to catch up with friends. A bucket collection on the night will be passed around for little Noah Quish.
Moving onto Friday 22nd, it’s eyes down as bingo takes over the hall at 8pm, with a Christmas social gathering in Fogarty’s Bar afterwards. Remember to dress up in your finest festive outfit, as there will be a prize for the best Santa hat!
Wishing one and all a merry Christmas and happy new year – see you in 2024!
