Catherine 'Kit' Cummins joined an elite club last Monday when she celebrated her 100th birthday in St Patrick's Community Hospital, Fermoy – where she's been resident for the last 4 years.
Originally Catherine Griffin from Ballynoe, she married the late John Cummins (Buttevant) before settling in Castlelyons.
At last Monday's festivities, Betty publicly thanked the management and staff of St Patrick's for hosting the party, she also acknowledged the wonderful care her mother was receiving.
